ABOUT THE POSITION
As an Account Coordinator, you’ll take ownership of your clients’ social media from strategy and content planning to publishing, engagement and client communication.
You’ll develop content plans, coordinate media days, create and edit content, manage approvals and make sure everything that goes live is accurate, on-brand and on time.
This is a hybrid position, so you’ll work remotely most days while attending client shoots and meetings throughout the Crystal Coast. Applicants must live within reasonable driving distance of Emerald Isle, Morehead City, Beaufort or Swansboro.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Develop monthly and weekly social media content plans based on client goals, promotions and events
- Coordinate media days and create detailed shot lists
- Capture photo, video, B-roll and behind-the-scenes content
- Write captions and create graphics, carousels and other social assets
- Edit short-form video, including Reels and TikToks
- Build and maintain client content calendars
- Schedule posts and make sure content publishes accurately and on time
- Manage client approvals, assets and content updates
- Respond to comments and messages and engage with relevant accounts
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned clients
- Lead monthly strategy calls to review performance, share insights and plan upcoming content
- Stay on top of social trends and bring fresh ideas to client accounts

- Are confident filming and editing content on your phone
- Are proficient in Canva and CapCut or similar tools
- Are highly organized and detail-oriented
- Can manage multiple clients, calendars and deadlines at once
- Are comfortable communicating directly with business owners and marketing teams
- Are a self-starter who takes ownership of your work from start to finish
- Enjoy building strong, long-term client relationships
EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, graphic design or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of social media, marketing or content creation experience
- Experience creating social media posts, graphics and short-form video
- Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook and TikTok
BONUS POINTS IF YOU...
- Have agency experience or have managed multiple brands at once
- Have experience with Meta Business Suite or Monday.com
- Are comfortable reviewing analytics and turning them into actionable content ideas
- Have experience leading client meetings
- Know the Crystal Coast community and local business landscape

COMPENSATION
Salary range: $38,000–$48,000 annually based on experience, skill set and portfolio quality.
